Please Send us your Handwritten Testimonial Letters, Photos & Commemorative Documents:

We hope you're in the know that in August, Dean Judy L. Postmus of the UMB School of Social Work announced Bronwyn Mayden’s upcoming retirement plans. As the visionary Founder and Executive Director of the highly successful Promise Heights Initiative, for more than a decade, Bronwyn and her team consistently delivered impactful, ground-breaking, and generational change to countless families in West Baltimore and beyond.

Now that she has retired, we’re assembling a commemorative book to celebrate Bronwyn, and we need your personal input!

Please take a moment to write a handwritten testimonial letter or gather photos and commemorative documents that chronicle the many ways that Bronwyn inspired you, and ultimately improved the community.

Send your various items no later than November 15, either as:

  • JPGs/PNGS/TIFF photos & virtual documents to lisalewenz@ssw.umaryland.edu

  • JPGs/PNGS/TIFF photos & virtual documents uploaded to https://bit.ly/3C06MMV

  • Personal handwritten letters, photos, and other documents via postal mail to Lisa Lewenz, Promise Heights, 525 W. Redwood Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21201

Questions? Reach out to Lisa Lewenz, Promise Heights Communications Specialist at lisa.lewenz@ssw.umaryland.edu or 443-615-2097.

Shhhh—this single-edition book is a surprise! As well, UMB has launched a fund in Bronwyn's honor. To learn more and donate, click here: SSW Bronwyn Mayden Scholarship.

Thanks so much...we can’t wait to see your contributions!
