We have good news that all moms will appreciate: since its inception more than 11 years ago, our innovative B’more for Healthy Babies (BHB) initiative has significantly reduced infant mortality in West Baltimore’s Upton/Druid Heights neighborhood. We’ve done this by offering valued services to every pregnant woman, while also building programs that emphasize policy change, build service improvements, and mobilize the community—efforts that have successfully supported emotional and behavioral transformations for new moms and their families.
At this time when good hygiene, healthy nutrition, and nurturing community-level support is more essential than ever, we hope you’ll be an important part of our 2021 Mother’s Day celebration.
Promise Heights wants to gift specific items and services to mothers of young babies, to moms in need, and to provide more opportunities for community members to participate in BHB’s new Doula Training and certification that makes a world of difference to women’s health and happiness.
Please help make this year’s Mother’s Day even more special for moms of Promise Heights by improving the lives of countless women and babies in need. Choose to donate $25, $50, $75, $100, or any amount of your choice. You can even opt to sponsor a Doula Training Class in honor of a special mom in your life.
