The first of Promise Heights free Winter/Spring 2021 virtual From the Heights programs happened on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 2-3pm [Eastern Time.]

On that day, Dr. David Satcher, former Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the 16th Surgeon General of the United States, and author of My Quest for Health Equity; and Andrea Brown, Executive Director of the Black Mental Health Alliance engaged a lively discussion about how to best address attitudes toward treatment, the current lack of sufficient Black mental health care practitioners, and what we can do now to address these and other pertinent issues.
