Pre-K & K Closing Activities at Eutaw-Marshburn Elementary School

During the second week of June, an excited group of Preschool and Kindergarten students attended a special Closing Ceremony to signify the completion of their school year.

The proud students and their families were welcomed to the school to pick up their certificates, see their teachers and school staff, get lunch, and collect some special goody bags.

Understandably, after several months of staying away from school due to the pandemic, the kids were very excited to see everyone. The next day, the school celebrated a Zoom graduation that included teachers, staff, and students. We have a feeling this event will be one they’ll long remember, even if they may not have understood how special and unusual a celebration had been planned to commemorate this important life chapter.
